I thought the new Simpsons movie had done some great pre-release marketing but The Dark Knight (thanks Andy for the correct title!) tops all, complete with all sorts of teasers and even an ARG style game that occurred via whysoserious.com.

I’m pretty sure this is marketing for The Dark Knight, the second of the new Batman movies. But I agree that it is pretty cool.
Oh! Thanks Andy
Serves me right for getting all my info from Heather Ledger fans! Will correct it now!
Hey Angela, I provide some info about what happened at the beginning of the campaign here
That’s just fantastic, thanks Christy! I believe they closed the game yesterday though I get all my media and entertainment gossip from the pop culture bloggers, so its one source removed. Do you know if they are going to continue or extend the game element?
On another matter, I’ve been dying to get into SL to see Thursday’s Child after watching it on Sunday but Sl is broken right now. I am sorry I missed hearing you talk about it, it looks amazing! Do you think we could take people through to share and discuss it for the NMC symposium at all?
The sim will be open continually so it should be no prob. FYI: The video of the inworld panel discussion for the ABC has been archived at: http://www.slcn.tv/thursdays-fictions-second-life
