Am desperately waiting for the Handbook of New Literacies to arrive, and looking forward to reading your book, Angela, which I have from the UKZN library. Great cover.
Its fascinating for me looking at the range of semiotic and linguistic modes our girls seem to have control over, even though some of them began their lives literally in mud huts (no intention to sound patronising).
Is MXIT a big phenomenon over there?
